Despite the shortening days and cooler temps, i must admit that i enjoy early fall more than any other season in the San Gabriel valley. 'Cross is MAN-tastic. I can tell you right now that nobody wants to see pictures of shadows and s**t.
This is the time of year to toughen up. I like to get up in the middle of the night when it's coldest, rub myself down with ice cubes, and then ride nude up the steepest hill.
It'll make you meaner than Mr. T, and get you more Playmates than Hugh Hefner.
d. diamond is tough like an Ohio man. We loves us some syrup-coated, icy-nipple hill climbs. My "seasonal garb" consists of Assos Chamois Creme. By itself. All over.
