Yes - that's right. I'm no longer sitting at mountain biking's proverbial 'kid's table'. I guess USA Cycling agreed that it was time for little Alex to get a taste of the big, mean world of elite MTB racing - SEMI PRO.
I can honestly say that i'm pretty excited about the upgrade. Not like racing is ever easy - but when youre happy to get 5 guys in your field, it means it's time to fry some bigger fish. If nothing else, I'll have the pleasure of seeing Lyle's blingin' white SIDIs at the starting line.
So long top 3 finishes, hello top 30...
